Frequently Asked Questions

Although we have tried to make this as simple as possible there may be some questions so we hope we have answered as many as possible.


How do I find the eggs?

The map/entry forms will have clues to each egg within the town. Follow the clues and you will see an egg with a clue letter.


What do I do with the letters I’ve found with the eggs?

The letters create a phrase, which when completed you will need to submit for entry into the draw.


How do I submit my entry?

You can submit your entry in several ways:

By emailing your details and the phrase to rwbtrc@gmail.com

By handing your completed entry form in at the Town Council Offices

By posting your completed entry form to H&W Print, Unit 16 Templars Way Industrial Estate, Marlborough Rd, Royal Wootton Bassett SN4 7SR (please note: posted entries will not be placed in draw if received after noon on the 19th April)


What do I do if I don’t find all of the eggs?

This is meant to be a fun event, if you can’t find them all and need a little help, send us an email at rwbtrc@gmail.com and we can give you an extra clue. If you still can’t find the full amount, please submit your form anyway, there are smaller prizes available and you may still be in with a chance.


How long will the Egg Hunt take?

The smaller “High Street” Egg hunt should take approx 30-45 mins but this may be longer at busier periods

The larger “around town” Egg hunt should take between 1 1/2 – 2 hours and can be done over several days and by car


What can I win?

To give everyone a fair chance, this is a drawn event. All completed entries will be put into a hat and the two main winners will be pulled first, then the smaller egg winners will be drawn.


When/Where will the draw take place?

The draw will take place on Friday 19th April at noon. This will take place at the Town Council Offices and the winners will be notified by phone or email as indicated on your entry form by close of play that day.
